1. Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?
Any female Canadian citizen currently enrolled in a Masters or Ph.D. program is eligible to apply.
You do not have to be a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity or the Alpha Omicron Pi Foundation Canada to apply.
2. When is the scholarship application due?
If you are submitting your application by mail or email, it must be sent/postmarked before 11:59 p.m. Pacific time April 23, 2021.
Transcripts must be postmarked by April 23, 2021.
3. Where should I send my application, transcripts and reference letters?

4. Can I send my application by courier?
Your application can be sent by Priority Post, no signature required.
5. Is there a application fee?
There is no fee to apply
6. What is the amount of the scholarship?
It will be $500.00 this year.
7. Can I expand any text boxes and/or tables in the application form?
Yes, please expand any text boxes and/or tables to fit as need be, but please stay within the word limit, where applicable.
8. If I am mailing my reference letters with my application, do they each need to be sealed separately from my application?
Yes. They should be sealed from the reference or if by email, the reference should send directly to aoiifoundationcanada@gmail.com with your full name in the subject line.
9. Can I send photocopies of my transcripts with my application?
No; please arrange to send original transcripts.
10. When will the successful applicant be contacted?
The successful applicant will be contacted in May.
11. What if I have a question that is not addressed above?
